Birthing a Brave New World
A 3 part Ritualistic Series to Ignite Your Divine Feminine Power
Join us for deep sisterhood, healing & transformation

In this powerful time of death and rebirth in our world, join us for three sacred & ritualistic Sundays this winter as we gather in sisterhood to heal our individual and global heart.

Think of it as a wild blend of the church you wish you'd always had mixed with the dance party of your dreams, creating an action lab where we will collectively birth a Brave New World together.

Starting the day after the historic Women's March around the US and ending the day before the Spring Equinox in March 2017, we will come together in an immersive container of transformation to release what’s no longer serving our (r)evolution, access our inner truth, move the emotions and energy of these times through our bodies fully & harness our fierce passion and Divine Feminine power.

ABOUT MINKALocated in the Prospect Lefferts Garden/ Crown Heights area of Brooklyn, and nestled in between the Prospect Park & the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, MINKA is a community healing center and overeall urban oasis inside and out.  GETTING HERE: the MTA Prospect Park station (B, Q, S) is across the street on Flatbush Ave, and you can take a quick 10-minute walk from Sterling St. station (2,5).  B16, 41, 43, 44, 48 & 49 stop within walking distance.

About Qoya
Through Qoya we remember our essence is wise, wild, and free. Wise, wild and free also draw reference to the movement forms that we practice: Wise: the wisdom of yoga; Wild: the creative expression in dance; Free: expanding our capacity to enjoy our bodies through sensual movement. You slow down and feel. You sweat. You play and have fun! Your perspective shifts from going through the motions to savoring life as sacred. You find the answers you seek in your body, and as well as the support to follow them. In Qoya, imagine there is no way you can do it wrong and the way you know you're doing it right is when it feels good.
About Expressive Arts
Expressive arts therapy or creative arts therapy, is the use of the creative arts as a form of self discovery. Unlike traditional art expression, the process of creation is emphasized rather than the final product.
